Giclée printing offers the artist at least a six color print – in many instances now 8 to 12 colors – along with an affordable minimum print run of ONE if so desired! Giclée prints virtually eliminate expensive pre-press charges, costly press set up charges, and large print runs. And like PFAD's 44" wide Epson Stylus 9800 Pro printer which uses 8 inks, and the incredible new K3 Ink Technology, for a fine "scattered" dot method of laying down ink, giclée printers also eliminate traditional printing issues such as moirés, rosette patterning and dot gain. It has become an incredibly affordable way to start a high-quality limited-edition run for the artist – and an affordable limited printed collection for the buyer!

Worldwide Internet Exposure

The PFAD website is a “virtual” gallery of paintings, illustrations and other artwork done by not only by PFAD’s founder, Sabine Baeckmann-Elge, but also of those artists who use our giclée and Natural-Fiber Textiles services and wish to showcase their art on our site. As a thank you for your patronage, we would like to showcase one of your images and establish a link between PFAD’s site and yours. The benefit here, besides additional exposure for both parties, would be for the customer – who can easily jump to a variety of artists’ websites and be able to order giclée prints on their choice of medium with great ease. As a showcased artist, you will then have the ability to easily offer giclées or Natural-Fiber Textiles prints of your work without the hassle of facilitating the process yourself. Your site will link to our service directly when a giclée or other print is requested. PFAD will handle customer service and order fulfillment from there on.
