Printing fine art on fabrics with high-quality, archival inks assures years of color trueness and durability, thanks to a unique process which makes the textiles colorfast BEFORE prints are even produced!*

But what about washing them? Or fading? Or wear and tear?

Under normal circumstance, digital printing of textiles requires that the textile be pretreated with special chemistry so that the inks will be accepted. Normal Piezo and Thermal Ink Jet printers, such Canon, Epson, Roland, HP, Mutoh, and LexMark printers, use dye-based inks. Using these inks with any other coated fabric on the market requires 'steaming' and other post treatments to fix the dyes. Without fixation the fabric not only cannot be washed, but will most likely fade more quickly due to normal wear and exposure to the elements.

PFAD uses an award winning * Natural-Fiber Textiles chemical formulation for pretreatment of textiles which eliminates the need for steaming or other post-printing treatment. This process is taking digital textile production to a new level. The patented chemistry has other applications as well, for example as a pre-treatment process for fine art printing papers, canvas for banners, wallpapers, as well as for apparel accessories, home furnishings, hobbies and crafts.

So rest assured, there is no steam or heat setting required to make your color textile prints just as permanent as any other giclée print. The secret lies in the archival quality inks we use, combined with specially developed textiles made just for this process.
